Vacuuming these window treatments on a regular basis also helps if someone in the home has allergies. If you see that your window treatments look grayish then it’s time to call in the professional cleaners. We prefer the professionals that come to your home and clean your drapery where they hang. Just remember to get references and make sure they have a business license. Remember that custom made drapery fabric has a finish on it from the mill and we do not recommend washing your drapes in the washing machine even if it’s 100% cotton fabric.
